This one-week spring school will provide several lectures by leading experts supplemented by selected seminars. In the year 2024, the school will address Non-unitary many-body quantum dynamics<\/em><\/strong>. The lecturers will give graduate-level presentations introducing state-of-the-art methods and techniques on the recent progress in non-unitary dynamics in many-body quantum systems. While the school is primarily aimed at instructing graduate students and young postdoctoral researchers, more senior scientists who want to acquaint themselves with the subject of the school are also welcomed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourteen fellowships for first and second-year Ph.D. students with a topic of their doctoral thesis closely related to the school focus will also be available. The fellowships cover half the school registration fee for standard accommodation in a shared double room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to apply for a Fellowship<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you apply for support by a fellowship, please provide the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you start with your doctoral thesis after January 1, 2022?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give the topic of your doctoral thesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask your thesis advisor to send an email to info(at)capri-school.eu<\/a> with the subject line “Fellowship Your Name<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This email should address the following points: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Why is your participation in the Capri Spring School 2024 important?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Why can your home institution not cover the full registration fee?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
